Welcome to The Consolidate Student Loans Blog

This is a simple but growing blog to help students and ex students figure out where they want to go to consolidate their student loans and hopefully save some money.

What we are definitely not is in the business of offering financial advice or guidance.  Anything on our site is information only, and is found elsewhere in one form or another.  What we have done is taken a look around, gathered some information, and put it in one area.  Some of the content is only related to student loans, while plenty is dedicated to the issue of how to consolidate student loans.

The reason we chose to do this?  It’s simple: we’ve paid off our loans and realized that there is a huge group of new graduates with difficult employment prospects and plenty of loans to pay off.  Getting debt consolidation plans together can help quite a bit when you are figuring out major decisions that have to do with your money.

The key in today’s markets, whether as a home owner, or just when you are looking to manage credit, is to ask questions.  In order to make sure that you ask enough questions, and the right questions, you need to inform yourself.  That way, when you do go to talk to the professionals about what you can do to lessen your payments you will be prepared.

Likewise, just because you choose to consolidate student loans does not mean that you will always save money.  It can simplify quite a bit, but you debt is debt.  It will have to be paid off.

This post will be stickied and may change from time to time.  As we put up a new post on the site, or if there is something pressing, you may find it here on the site.  Also, it can serve as a great place to leave us a comment below, and tell us what you are in to and what you want to see on the site.

If you spot something we have misunderstood, please contact us so we can rectify it.

Remember, that these are findings, but not advice.  Inform and prepare yourself for a stronger financial future.

Thanks for stopping by The Consolidate Student Loans Blog.
